How do I post a Siri query in the sidebar to go back to later?

In Catalina there was a plus sign in the corner of a Siri answer that you could click on and it would go into the sidebar. I can't tell how to do it in 11. I used that all the time as a reference for what I was working on.

MacBook, macOS 10.15

Yes, it looks like the feature was taken out when they rebuilt the sidebar in OS 11. I tried setting up a new administrator account and it's not on the new account either. One reason I asked this question was because it's hard to tell if they haven't included the feature or just put it in a different location.

Presumably it will make it back in one of the Mac OS 11 updates sort of like how Mac OS 10.0 lost features from Mac OS 9 and then it them back in the point releases.

I deleted the test account no problem.

Hi ***80,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help with Siri. It sounds like you were using Siri in Notification Center previously.

This should still be available in Big Sur. Have a look here: How to use Siri on your Mac and the section "Keep Siri results where you can find them".

If you still don't see the option, try disabling Siri inside System Preferences and restarting your Mac. Activate Siri again and see if the feature is back.

If it isn't, do you see the feature inside a new user account? Here's how to make one: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

Let us know how it goes.

Have a fantastic day!

You can by doing the following as Michael suggested: log into another vanilla admin user account on your Mac, Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac and see if the problem persists. (This tells us if the problem is limited to your user account or is system wide).

Hi Michael, I think the help file is from two years ago before Big Sur came out. I'll try your steps but before I do I am wondering do you see the little plus icon in the corner of a Siri query of a Big Sur machine? I only have one Mac running the new operating system so I can't verify if this is a problem elsewhere. Thanks

I can't sign into the guest account for some reason. It's asking for a password but I thought guest didn't need a password.

I was just wondering if Apple removed the pin feature for some reason. Maybe they moved it to a different location like they did with "do not disturb" (which used to be in the sidebar and now it's in the menu bar.) If someone else has it show up on their Big Sur machine wouldn't that alone verify that this is a bug?
