Language input menu bar disappeared suddenly

I have already checked settings->keyboard->input sources "show input menu in menu bar", but nothing happens. I am not sure what caused this disappearance, the input menu was always there in my menu bar.. has anyone also run into this problem? i'm on big sur 11.2.2., macbook air m1

Keyboard and trackpad stop working after upgrade to Ventura 13.0.1 After i upgraded my macbook pro M1 14" to Ventura 13.0.1, the keyboard (external Apple bluetooth keyboard as well as the built in one) and some functions of the trackpad and Bluetooth mouse stop working. Do you have more than one keyboard activated? If not, try doing that.
