WhatsApp call with Siri when phone is locked.

Hi All, if anyone knows how to reactive Siri feature making WhatsApp call using airpods to command siri while phone is locked. I used to make calls on WhatsApp when using Airpods to command siri while my phone is lock and in pocket. Now if I do the same, Siri says “ready to call using WhatsApp” and then stopped asking for Face ID or passcode to continue. Idk how to fix it. I’ve tried deleting WhatsApp and reinstalling but still not working. Also I’ve option siri while locked screen.

Any solution for that?

Hi Rahul393,

To make sure we're on the same page, it sounds like you're attempting to place a call with Siri using WhatsApp while your iPhone is locked. However you're prompted to unlock your iPhone for Siri to finish placing the call.

To clarify, if you unlock your iPhone and attempt to use Siri with WhatsApp does it work? We understand this isn't the behavior you'd like however it will be helpful to know if it works that way.

Provided the option to "Allow Siri When Locked" is enabled under Settings > Siri & Search, Siri is likely working as expected. We'd recommend reviewing this article from WhatsApp support regarding using Siri:

Then reach out to WhatsApp directly for expected behavior regarding Siri and being prompted to unlock your device to place a phone call.
