Get my old iPhoto library from backup on Time Machine and convert that to photos

Okay someone answered by question and now I cannot find it. I am looking to get my old iPhoto library from backup on time machine and convert that to photos. I cannot remember my question now but I am commentator does anyone know how you find your old posts, I just asked the question today. about an hour ago.
