Where is “days to sync” mail iOS 14?

Hi!

I am using an iCloud email account and iOS 14.

I’ve noticed that there are more emails on my computer and iCloud account in the web browser than there are on my iPhone. I can not find the settings for how many days of emails I can sync.

Can someone share this with me? I am also having the same problem on my iPad.

This is something that I used to have on earlier iOS with my iCloud account. I've searched on the discussion boards and I am not the only one with this issue, but I can't seem to find a resolution. The emails that are not showing up on my phone are only a little over 30 days, and I need to be able to access them when I am not with my computer.

Hi natmac,

It sounds like you have some questions about adjusting the Mail settings on your iPhone and iPad. We can help with this.

There wouldn't be a way to change the Mail Days to Sync for your iCloud account. If you have multiple email accounts set up on your devices, you may be able to change the settings for your other accounts. You can see what accounts can be changed by going to Settings > Mail > Accounts, then tapping on the account itself.

Check out this resource for more information about using Mail on your iPhone: Use the Mail app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps answer your question.

Take care!

I have noticed this too-- something changed recently-- I have not changed any settings, but suddenly, I am only seeing the past 30 days of messages in mail on my iPhone and iPad. I confirmed that the "mail days to sync" settings on my account were set for 1 month. When I changed that to "no limit", and refreshed my messages, the older ones appeared again.

(Settings -> Mail -> Accounts -> [my account in question] -> Mail Days to Sync)

Perhaps it should have been doing that all along and some bug got fixed recently?

Also, this appears to have only affected IOS- I was seeing all my emails on my MacBook.
