Hello!
Why doesn't the green camera indicator light on my M1 MacBook Air turn on when I am using the camera?
Tried out using Photo Booth and camera works fine, but there is no camera indicator light that comes on.
This is an issue obviously since I wan't to know if the camera is currently on or not.

From your post, it sounds like the green light does not turn on when the camera is being used. Can you let us know if the issue persists in safe mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode
Are other apps affected other than Photo Booth? If a macOS software update is available, let's go ahead and install that now: How to update the software on your Mac
