I think my smart folio’s magnets feels defective.

11 days ago I bought an iPad Air 4th Generation and a Smart Folio in an authorised reseller store.

Today I was doing a presentation on a small group of people where the incident happened, I placed my iPad in a table and after a few minutes it the iPad suddenly dropped on the floor while the smart folio just fell a few inches away from it.

There wasn’t any wind and nobody was near the iPad so that’s why I’ve come up to the conclusion that the case’s magnets were defective and also my iPad almost got broken luckily I had screen protector on.

The magnets also couldn’t have been damaged by me as I never let the Folio near places with extreme temperatures.

iPad Air, iPadOS 14
