App update not using correct apple id

I updated the Apple ID on my iMac air, yet there is an app on my Mac that needs to be updated, and it is showing the incorrect Apple ID. I can’t get past without entering a password for the incorrect Apple ID

I found by deleting the app and re-installing it fixed the issue.

Did you get a new Apple ID or just change something associated with the old ID, like the email address?
