Which watch band size should I order?

I am trying to make a decision in the purchase of a iWatch 6. (S/S watch and band.) 40 or 44 centimeters?? Is this in reference to the diameter of the wrist??? What size should I order. (Male/ 5’ 11”/ 200 lbs.)

Apple Watch is supplied with two case sizes, 40 or 44 millimetres (not centimetres). The size actually refers to the diagonal measurement of the display rather than the dimensions of the wearer. The size you choose is personal preference but you are about the same height and weight as me, and I think you will find the 44mm looks and works better on your arm.
