Error Message

Hello,

I have recently started to have an error message pop up randomly. "line 1, column 1 (char 0)".

I have an iMac 2011 and running High Sierra. Is this a bug with Apple's software? If I wiped the system and started fresh, would that solve the problem? What can I do to get rid of this pop-up?
