You pay for out of warranty repair.

You have updated to the latest versions, tried all the steps in the relevant links and you have either personally gone to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider or sent it to Apple to be examined.

How can it not be helpful to offer the only options available to you apart from taking it to an Apple Store?

Not unless you have exhausted all administrative remedies first.

Would you be disputing that your warranty was too short? I don’t see what your case is based on.
