I'm getting this error when I try to stream home videos to my TV. I'm encoding in MP4, 1080p. Is there a preferred format that I should use to re-encode my videos so I can stream them to an airplay-enabled TV?

I use Vegas Pro to encode my videos, I've tried multiple mpeg4, and even Apple presets from the software but nothing works. I can stream them to Apple TV and through Chromecast, but unfortunately that isn't helpful in this situation. It needs to work on airplay enabled televisions directly.
I found the answer through a little trial and error: First, disable iCloud photos. Then, import the video to the photo album through iTunes. Then the videos can be loaded into iMovie and exported so that they can be streamed natively through airplay to any supported TV.

You are using an unsupported codec in your videos.
Yes and I am specifically asking what the correct codec/encoding requirements are, nobody seems to be able to provide a direct answer.
H.265 is recommended.
Spent a couple days converting files to h.265, the error persists and I still cannot use airplay to stream to a television. Next suggestion?
Check the TV web page. Some TV's offer over the air updates.
It's not a TV issue, it's the file encoding.
