Delay/Lag while typing on 16in MacBook Pro

I recently purchased a 16in MacBook pro with the i7 processor. I have notice when typing every few words there is a slight delay or lag in when typing it's just barely noticeable but it's annoying to me since this is a very $2k computer. Anyone else seen this?

Slight delay when I type I have a 3 week old 27" iMac with 72 gb ram. For the last day or so whenever I type I have a slight delay, which is annoying because I type so fast. It lags behind just a little. How can I fix this? The keyboard is fully charged. (I did notice that when I plug in the lightening cable (to my keyboard) that the response time is good.)

Lag on operating system Hi, new m1 13" macbook pro, had it 6 months. Starting to see lag / freeze while typing. Cursor will freeze for a few seconds while I'm typying (same type of issue while scrolling) then the computer will catch up and display what I typed while frozen. This occurs on various programs so it is the computer, not the program

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it's a hardware related issue( error code NDK001).
