iPhone 12 mini should have 64G of storage but it's only showing 50G in my iCloud. What gives?!

I recently updgraded to a 12 mini from a 6s (and was paying for extra storage.) It's still only showing the 50G not the full 64 it should have, and I'm still being charged by apple for the "extra" storage I no longer need. What gives?!

Device and iCloud storage are completely separate and unrelated. iCloud storage is available as 50Gb, 200GB and 2TB. iPhone 12 storage is aviable, on the device, as 64GB, 128GB or 256GB depending in what you purchased.
