I bought a new charger and it won’t fit into the charging port, I have tried cleaning with a needle (the eye) an air blower on gentle and easy, and I put a cleaning brush in there and swirled it around. There is no visible debris. What should I do?
Perhaps you have the wrong cable?
Does the new Power Adapter have USB-C connection? Older Power Adapters will have the older/larger USB Type-A connector.
Your 2014 iPad will have a Lightning port. If your new Power Adapter has a USB-C port, you will require a USB-C to Lightning cable:
