I purchased an album using my iphone a few months ago. I want to download that to my iMac now but while it does show up omg purchases, it won't download to the computer when I click the download button on the album thumbnail. How do I get this album to my computer?
I don't think my Mac is a pro but that seemed the closest device that aI could choose when asked what one I am using.

Is your computer authorized to your Apple ID? Do you have more than one Apple ID? One would expect it to either download or give some kind of error. Reboot your router and computer and try again. Failing that reach out to iTunes - Official Apple Support.

I will keep trying. I have only one Apple ID. I have restarted the computer a few times. iTunes seems to be holding up as well. Just doesn't finish opening up.
Try holding down option+cmd as you launch iTunes to open it in safe mode. If you're still having trouble with the store it may be worth checking for malware with a free trial of Malwarebytes.
