Unable to install apps that were already installed. Some apps do not connect to internet

On my iPhone Several apps have the cloud beside it. When I try to install it says “ Unable to install, try again later. I turned off the “offload app toggle. Facebook app says no internet connection. I have internet with WiFi and cellular and have turned off one at a time. I have deleted and reinstalled apps, downloaded latest updates, reset the iPhone to factory settings. I don’t know what else to do.

Hey there Jale123,

We'd like to help get your previously downloaded apps to install without any issues, along with getting the Facebook app working with your internet connection.

Let's start with ruling out some basics:

  1. You mentioned already testing your internet connection while using both Wi-Fi and cellular. Are we correct in saying you were able to browse websites in Safari while using either connection?
  2. You also mentioned recently updating your iPhone. We see you have iOS 14 installed, but the latest is iOS 14.4.1. You can verify the version number installed within Settings > General > About. Just in case, here's a link that'll show how to first back up, then Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  3. You'll also want to check for any updates to Facebook. This link shows how to Update apps or use automatic downloads.
  4. When you reset to factory settings, did you mean you restored it as new(not from a backup) using a computer? If not, which exact steps did you take to reset it?
  5. You mentioned that the apps you attempt to download again have a little cloud next to them. This indicates you previously downloaded them. Is the issue only happening with specific apps, or all of the ones you've downloaded in the past?
  6. What happens when you test downloading a free app that you haven't downloaded yet?

We look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks!
