Apple TV+ “Content is no longer available”

I’d purchase the subscription for apple tv+ to watch the film Cherry, but I can’t find the film on the apple tv app so i decided to search on safari for the film. When i click on the link “Cherry | Apple TV+”, it guided me to the apple tv app but it says “this content is no longer available” what should i do?

Hello emeline2005,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're having issues with locating a movie on Apple TV+, and we'd be happy to provide you with the best steps.

To get started, check out the following article that may help with addressing this issue: If you can't stream or watch movies or TV shows from the Apple TV app, iTunes Store, or third-party apps - Apple Support

If still unable to locate the movie after the steps above, then we'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly from this link here: Get Support - Apple

We hope that helps.

Cheers!

Possibly you tried an old link. “Content is no longer available” would (also) be used for invalid links.

See here: Cherry | Apple TV+ for web access. You will need to sign in (upper right corner) to access the content, using an Apple ID account that has an Apple TV+ subscription.

I can’t find the film on the apple tv app

That is odd, because new content is usually prominently featured in the app. Unless the concern below applies.

This specific content has an “R” rating (US: 17+), so depending on your age, you may not be able to access it.

That seems to indicate issues on the network, possibly in your DNS settings. Is your device set to take DNS settings automatically from the router, and is your router set to use the DNS from your ISP?

Or perhaps you are in a country or region where Apple TV+ is not available.
