Will the sound of the camera shutter be removed in silent mode on an iPhone from ZD / a country?

If the iPhone was manufactured for a country market where it's prohibited by law to silence the shutter sound, even if you're using it in a different country, the mute switch won't have any effect.

No.

You can't mute the shutter sound on devices made for sale in some markets.
