New iPhone

Unable to install update. Message says that you can install this update when your iPhone is finished restoring from the iCloud backup. It has been several hours since I started restore when setting up a new iPhone. How long should it take to restore? Can I check to see if restore was paused? And if paused how can I restart restore?

Restoring requires your iPhone be on a good Wi-Fi connection. It should also be plugged in to power.


Check Settings > [Your Apple ID] > iCloud > iCloud Backup to check on progress.
