IOS 16 update fail

After trying to update to IOS 16 through Itunes, my Iphone 12 showed me the restore screen. Now is stuck in the "Preparing IPhone for software update". This was right after it finished backing up the phone. Can i get the back up back after the phone is updated? Will I lose everything? I'm desperate.

iOS 16.2 installation on iPhone 14 Pro Max Hello, I have had the new iPhone 14 Pro Max since Dec 20, but I still cannot install the iOS 16.2 update. The message I got is "You can install this update when your iPhone is finished restoring from the iCloud backup". I have been using the phone since day one and there is no message I can locate indicating the incomplete restore. Any suggestion?

iOS 16 update stuck My first attempt at updating it would get stuck at 99.9% for hours. So I put it into recovery mode, wasn't able to update via iTunes so I chose restore. After restoring, would be a white screen "slide up to upgrade" and the same thing would happen again, stays near complete for hours unable to access my phone.
