My Hide Alerts keeps turning on on its own iphone 12 pro max

Iphone 12 pro max. I put "hide alerts" on a group chat while I was sleeping and now when I go to turn it off it toggles off but then a few minutes later it shows the crescent moon again next to the group name all on its own. Is this happening to anyone else?

Now I have an iPhone 13 and when I set the alarm no icon appears at the top of the screen. How can I get it to appear? Can I See but not hear Notifications while on focus mode? I have an iPhone 8 plus, running 16.5IOS. I know I can enable certain people and apps to notify me while in focus MODE and edit home and lock screen. However, sometimes I need silence while still being able to look at lock or home screen and see if ive missed calls/texts emails etc. Is their a way to SEE all notifications on all apps but not HEAR them, while in focus mode?
