My iPhone calendar has a ‘Microsoft suggestion’ that is spam/virus. How do I remove this? I tried checking for rogue calendars under my calendar settings but there is nothing showing up there. I have installed the latest security update to my phone.

In Calendar app, tap on Calendars and uncheck the ones you don’t recognise .
Then Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Subscribed Calendars, look for the problem calendar and delete it.
I have the same issue. I tried turning off my calendar and it went away and now it is back.
Do it again exactly as I first posted.
Try not to say Yes to any suggestions from websites Particularly “Notifications” or you say Yes to spam.
Your problem is exactly like mine tcmcfall. I have no idea how to get rid of "microsoft suggestion" I have read all the advice but nothing seems to work.
Fair enough, thank you for the help! I have to agree with you as I checked my desktop calendar and it is working the same. Off to Microsoft! (ugh) ;)

That works fo a spam calendar.
It does not work for spam in your main calendar.
Several people have posted in this thread and more than one cause is in effect.
