No matter the plug-in I use, the C3 and G3 just randomly sustain without me wanting them to. Whether I use a midi controller or not, it doesn't seem to matter. So I know the problem is with Logic, would anyone know how to help? It's really becoming a problem when I'm composing and then have to go back and edit them out every single time.
It has to do with Logic's "Control Surfaces" section.
Check under Assignments or....
Go to the upper left Logic Pro menu to Control Surfaces and rebuild defaults.
Thank you so much! It was actually under control surfaces, there was a button called "bypass all"
Right, I think I said that. But the problem stems from assignments. Bypass All is a nuke attack but does work if you don't care or need any functions of your controller keyboard.
Yes, you did! I meant I didn't find the reset to default and just found the bypass all. And yea, I'm not even currently using a midi keyboard so it worked perfectly, thanks again!
Excellent... I guess new versions of Logic don't have the "Rebuild Defaults" option. (I'm on 10.4.4)
