I’ve recently upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro. Everyday since I got my new phone there has been an unread email icon telling me there’s 1 or sometimes 2 unread emails. But when I go into my emails there are no unread emails. I’ve tried restarting my phone a number of times but that doesn’t work. Can someone help please?

Look in the trash and other folders, any unread mails deleted or moved before reading can generate a badge.

OK that's a different graphic. iCloud mail does not have many bulk options even in iCloud.com in a computer browser but you could check there.
You can power cycle the phone off and on
You can go to Settings, (Your name), iCloud, turn off Mail, wait a mo, then turn it on again
No it isn't. It is saying your mail app contains an unread mail somewhere.

Thanks. I’ve tried going to my deleted and other folders as suggested, I selected all and marked as Read but it’s still showing as one unread mail
