iTunes/Music repeat button icon problem

Dear community,

I'm having a problem with the Music app on OS Big Sur. The 'repeat' button icon seems to be stuck on 'Repeat 1' (the icon with the little 1 in the upper right). If repeat is off entirely, the button is grey; if I click it once, it becomes red; If i click again, it stays red.

To be clear: the functionality is the same as before: One click turns on 'repeat all', the second changes it to 'repeat this song'. Only the icon does not correspond.
