Apple Music app auto-advancing issue.

I'm having an intermittent issue where iMusic will all of a sudden start advancing to the next song(s). If I stop in, exit and restart the app, it will continue advancing through any playlist or station that I select, never playing a song, just advancing. It happens intermittently (both on cellular as well as home internet and my work internet) and will only resolve itself if I reboot my phone. Any ideas on what is causing this or what I can do to permanently fix it? This is happening on my new 12 Pro Max..

It sounds like you can’t play songs in the Music app on your iPhone, and we're happy to help. You can try the suggestions here if this happens again:

If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library

They are not missing. They are songs from a station and apple play list in the music app. The songs being missing doesn’t explain why it works fine after I reboot the phone. It is sporadic and has no rhyme or reason as to when it acts up. Right now I am listening to the 70’s pop radio and it’s working fine. The other day it was just going through each song and not playing them, just advancing as if someone was holding down a skip song button. But it works after you reboot the phone. Sounds to me like there is a glitch in the program that apple really needs to iron out.
