"Profiles" preference?

I have been using Macintosh for decades now, and something new has appeared unbidden. In System Preferences I have a new preference pane entitled "Profiles." I have read about this pane but never seen it. It is next to "Start up Disk."

When I open the Profiles pane, I see one "provisioning profile" in there. It is for iMovie_27_Sep. In green letters the panel says Verified. The dated "Received" is seven minutes ago.

I do not knowingly use iMovie, but a week or two ago it appeared in Software Update. I am not aware of downloading an upgrade.

Is this new Profiles good? Or should I worry about it?

Mac mini, macOS 10.15

Yes, there's nothing to be concerned about. It's something new with the latest update of iMovie and has something to do with Xcode and verification.
