earbuds beeping noise when toggling pause/unpause button

My new wired earbuds make a beeping noise like “ding ding ding” when I press the button on the cord to toggle pause/unpause something I’m listening to. I cannot find any info on this happening anywhere online and nothing about it in the settings of my iPhone (these wired earbuds came with the iPhone I just got recently by the way) and I’ve never heard of apple earbuds making this beeping noise, no one else I know that also has these earbuds experiences this so I’m so confused if this is normal or not. Either way it’s very annoying and I’d like to turn it off somehow if it’s possible! If anyone knows about this or also experiences this please let me know! anything would be helpful at this point!
