Trying to set up a Canon Pixma g4210 printer.

None of my devices can detect the printer, iMac 10.14.6, Ipad Pro, Iphone 12pro.

I tried attaching an USB cable but the IOS printer setup requires a driver. Canon says no driver required for this printer on IOS. Now What?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.14

Hi allstamp,

Your printer is an AirPrint printer, meaning you don't have to install ANY drivers or apps. Do not let Canon tell you to do that. IT IS NOT needed!

Since no devices can see it, this means it is not connected to the WiFi correctly.

You may have better luck with Canon Support for this: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/megatank-inkjet-printers/all-megatank-inkjet-printers/pixma-g4210?tab=manuals.

Once it is on the WiFi correctly, see if the devices can see it.

Cheers,

Jack
