Fix for Airplay Icon missing in iTunes ( windows 10)

This is a fix ,not a question

The issue is caused by iTunes inability to deal with the "ac" wireless protocol, which uses the 5Ghz band. The fix is to revert to 2.4Ghz band. This can be achieved by either switching the 5Ghz signal off in your router( this would force all devices on the network to use 2.4Ghz) or go to Device Manager | wireless adapter | properties | advanced | wireless mode, set to 11/a/b/g/n.

NB I tried setting preferred band to 2.4Ghz first but didn't work. still connected on ac

The down side to this fix is your wireless connection speed will be limited

Windows, Windows 10
