I've tried changing the preferences and toggling on and off but it's still stuck uploading 52 items. Any ideas as to how to reset this?
Allow time for the sync to complete. The photos sync is extremely slow. It could take several days or more for the photos to sync..

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand that iCloud isn't uploading your photos. Are you connected to a known good Wi-Fi network when attempting to upload photos? Have you tried restarting your iPhone as well?
