Maps

I still have Maps under "Settings" but it's disappeared off my screen. How do I get the icon back on the screen so I can directly access the app without going through hoops? I have tried the idea of downloading again but there is no way to do that, it simply re-opens the app i have but doesn't add the icon to the screen.
