When I try to update my MacBook Air 2019 to Big Sur it won’t let me and all it says is this recovery server could not be contacted what should I do?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.


Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.


Don't use FireFox or WaterFox for this link. it'll mess it up...
