I'm getting weird texts coming from Apple

Today I've got some unrequested weird texts in my messages that are coming from Apple. The reason I'm saying it's from apple is because the texts are right under the Varification codes sent from Apple earlier.

I'm worried if it's some kind of malware.

iPhone 7, iOS 14

Where to Go From Here:

A. Charge your iPhone:

First off, your battery is way done (8%). So, charge it ASAP, to avoid a damaged battery. But, that should play no part in messaging.

B. Consider Modifying your Credentials:

If your are getting suspicious texts regarding login, then consider modifying your credentials. Particularly, opening up a new eMail address, and assigning as your Apple ID. Moreover, modify your password, keeping a handwritten, hardcopy of it. Store it in a private location that only you are knowledgeable of, and only you have access to..

C. Report this to Apple:

Take a screenshot of this, and forward it as an attachment to Apple using this eMail address: reportphishing@apple.com. In the Comments pane, inform Apple of what the attachment is all about: an eMail contacting an attachment of a scam.

D. Contact Apple Support:

Let Apple know what is going on there. Ask to speak with the Apple Store Staff. They will see what is going on and will run you through the fix. Ask the Apple Rep to perform some screensharing with them so they can see this for themselves, from your perspective.

Apple Contact Us Info:

Why the Wait?:

It may take a while to get through to Apple Support. And that makes sense because many are at home at the moment working out of the house or taking classes at home (due to the Coronavirus Pandemic), thus giving them more time to contact Apple Support. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
