RAM configuration from the factory?
What is the memory configuration in an iMac Pro 2017 from the factory? It came with 32G of RAM. I know there are 4 memory slots, so does that mean there are 4 8G cards? 2 16G cards?

yes.. you are correct.. 32 gigs is the factory standard/default , there are 4 slots and 8 Gigs per stick for a total of 32 gb of ram( memory) . The sticks themselves are 2666 Mhz, DDR4,ECC memory ( RAM). The ram is potentially upgradeable, but not by a Mac user. You would have to take it to an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) .

probably, marialupu1, but i don’t know what it costs or what an AASP would charge, locally or otherwise. Your best bet would be to find one near you, give ‘em a call, make an appointment, and bring it into them... along with your wallet/purse and plenty of freely available cash to spend/credit or debit card..

By this means i must pay at the service same price like i would it pay apple for increasing my Ram memory?
