Flickering lines on the screen of MacBook Pro 2017

Hi, There were flickering lines that started to appear at the bottom of my screen after persistent use. And went away after shutting it down it closing down the flap for sometime. But they would return again on continuous usage of the MacBook.

I couldn’t go to the Apple Care Centre because of the pandemic, and just when the l ok down was liften my warranty expired.

Apple refused to provide any exceptions or extensions considering the pandemic and my inability to visit the service centre.

And one day the MacBook simply wouldn’t start. I had to pay almost 88000/- to get the logic board and battery replaced.

Now it has been just about 2 months since the replacement, that the lines on the screen have started to reappear.

After paying such a hefty amount, I am at a loss about what to do for this issue.

Any help/ advice/ suggestion would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Priyanka_statusanxiety,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with your MacBook after it was repaired. We'd like to help.

Since you will likely need to have your MacBook evaluated, it would be best to bring this to your local Apple Authorized Service Provider or Contact Apple Support for additional guidance.

Hope that helps.

Have a great day!
