Blue Tooth mouse connected but not working

Our apple iMac shows the mouse in the bluetooth menu as connected but it doesn't work. Is it possible the mouse's bluetooth "sender" isn't working. We can connect a USB Logitech mouse and it works.

My mouse will suddenly not connect by bluetooth to my MAC. I have charged it and connected it to the computer by USB. it does not appear in the devices list of the computer. My generic bluetooth mouse doesn't show up in my Macbook Air High Sierra My generic mouse can be paired to two devices at once and I have done Bluetooth debug, reset, etc but it remains undiscovered. It works when connecting to Android and Windows and it is supposed to work with Mac. I can use it when pairing using the USB but not in Bluetooth mode. I have tried searching for it after pairing it through the 2.4 Ghz USB but it is still invisible. Is my Mac too old or what? Please help, all you geniuses out there!!! Thanks!
