When I click change passcode the “forgot passcode” is not showing up

My kid iPad screen time password isn’t working. Trying to reset it and there is no forgot passcode option like shown on some tutorials.

Forgot my ipad screen time passcode I forgot my childs ipad screen time passcode that I set up last year, I followed the steps to try to change the passcode by clicking forgot passcode where it would then let you sign into your apple ID/password. Every time I try those steps it keeps kicking me out for 60 mins "try again in 60 mins." How can I get rid of this, it won't even let me reset the whole ipad without that passcode.

Reset screen time passcode My kids iPad screen time passcode was forgotten and it’s not being shared across devices. I want to reset it but I can’t! I believe the Apple ID is different from the one he has one (an old Apple ID) and that’s why it doesn’t appear as a device I can control. And the option Forgot your passcode? Doesn’t appear. I don’t want to try 9999 times to guess the passcode. I did 300 tries and got bored. Any other solutions?

How to reset the forgotten Screen time passcode on ipad I Forgot my kids Screen time passcode on ipad. I Entered the apple id n passcode and i get the same failed screen again. I have 21 failed attempts. It is not allowing me to reset or disable anymore

I’m not about to test this, but I believe the Forgot Passcode? option is suppressed during the waiting time.

Sadly it wasn’t there between the lock times.
