I accidentally paid off my entire balance on my Apple Card which was $260-some dollars recently and Because I did that my bank card went into the negative so every single purchase I made after that payment

So my bank card went into the negative because I accidentally paid my entire balance off and I was charged $36 for each overdraft fee and all of my purchases were small like $5, $12, one was only $.99 but that can of sparkling water cost me $37! I have a total of over $300 in overdraft fees in the bank offered me a compensation of $4.00. US Bank - I didn’t want to except that because it’s an embarrassment but I know that big banks don’t see me as an individual with an unfortunate situation of crisis, having lost my job and significant cost of rent, well, all the etcetera including we are all in / with critical and uncertain circumstances - it’s COVID!! They would at best shrug if I threatened leaving the bank after 30 years and never that I recall, being in the negatives. (Otherwise way will be switching to a credit union within days) I guess my question is turning into a story - because I’m scared - I have great anxiety and fear because Money matters a whole lot - when you don’t have it - it affects your quality-of-life, your security, self-esteem, trust in society ...

so to summarize and get to the point… I’m wondering if there’s anyway that the Apple Card would credit me that money back because according to the bank if I can return an item and prove that I returned it they will credit me all of the overdraft fees. I can’t return the $.99 sparkling water (actually, I will try) if I can return my Apple payment, I would simply turn right around and pay it off again because I received my stimulus check. I will check with the places that I purchased things from even though they’re not returnable things I’m hoping that some people will accommodate considering I’m gonna return the money that they hand over to me the very second it touches my hand. Apple is my friend and I have been devoted and appreciate all the also big business company but just seems to have more personal attention and care I am hoping hoping hoping that Apple Card would do this and want to just put it back on my card so whether or not I paid it off right away it’s still my obligation to ...

sorry dear community member I I’m so anxious right now that I am rambling so if anyone knows what I can do or if anyone can make something happen somehow maybe you work for Apple (card)

thank you : here’s A quote that I think is really funny to entertain you after being sucked into my story-request — I am NOT very English. :) you!

Apple and Goldman Sachs are not here. this is a user to user forum. there is nothing we can do to reverse any payments you made. You can contact Goldman Sachs at 1-877-255-5923 to see what they can do.

Cancel a payment

On iOS 14 or later, you might be able to cancel a one-time payment that hasn't been processed yet:

  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap Apple Card.
  2. Under Latest Transactions, tap the payment that you want to cancel.
  3. Tap the payment again, then tap Report an Issue.
  4. Choose an issue, then tap Cancel Payment.

If you don't see Cancel Payment, tap Contact Support to chat with an Apple Card specialist.
