what has Apple done with the mail settings and email accounts ? I can no longer find email accounts or update email.

In recent versions of iOS/iPadOS, the Mail Account settings (and others) have simply been relocated into a more logical structure. Accounts can now be accessed from the settings pane of each of the Core Apps - instead of being grouped with Passwords.

For iOS/iPadOS13, Account settings were located here:

Settings > Passwords & Accounts > [Accounts]

From iOS/iPadOS14, Account settings for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Notes and Reminders, can now be accessed from their own App settings:

Settings > Mail | Contacts | Calendars | Notes | Reminders > Accounts

Using iPadOS 13:--> Settings>Passwords&Accounts>Accounts

Using iPadOS 14:--> Settngs>Mail>Accounts

I have iOS 12.5.1. It says software is up to date.

So, has Apple essentially disabled my iPad, forcing me to purchase a new one?

i received e-mail for years with no maintenance. It quit 4 days ago.

i have tried changing passwords but am afraid to delete account and start over.

I am very angry!!!

I have just lived through 2weeks a **** with a sadistic hacker doing something to my phone every single day!!!

now that I know it is you who rearranged file, did you make changes in my contacts configuration as well???

I set and reset my "settings in email twice.!

all my incoming mail is going anywhere but the inbox!

I want my emails back!!!!!!!!!

they are all missing including the emails in the labels I created. More than half my labels are missing!!!

ALL MY EMAILS &CONTENTS FROM MY LABELS ARE MISSING!!!

Where is everything and how do I get it back???!!!

I am furious!!!!!!
