Is there an update coming to password protect hidden photos?

Only Apple would know anything about any upcoming changes in any of their apps. We here only know about them when or if Apple publicly announces them.

The entire device has more than one identifier that proves you are you.

No need for a password on that folder.

I truly wish they would pass word protect option the hidden photo folder

Only you can see it and that access is protected by your Passcode.
