SE watch not counting all calories

Hello community! This is my first post WHOA!! I got the Apple SE watch for Christmas and love it so much so far. However, after only 3 months, I can see that it’s not counting my calories correctly. I’ve reset my watch 3 times now, unlinked my watch from my phone and relinked it and it’s still doing the same. For example; I’ll wake up with maybe 10 or 15 calories. I usually take my dog for a walk so I track that. It’ll say I burned 115 calories active and 145 in total. Once I click done on my tracking and check my move ring it’ll say I’ve only burned 90 calories in total. Not sure what to do at this point. Hoping someone here can help me figure it out!! Thank you so much in advance!!!

Just to be clear, on your iPhone, to see the total calories burned for the day first, tap on the Activity app (and History at the bottom left corner if not already selected - then select a day). Then swipe left in the "Move" section to not show the graph and show the Active and Total calories. (Swipe right to return to the graph.). Or, you can use the Health app - tap on Activity.

Total calories include - basal calories + calories burned when doing a workout. Active calories are those that are burned during some activity like swimming running or anything else where your body is moving, Basal are those that your body burns during a day without any activity.

hello thank you for your comment! I am not sure what you mean by activity app so I went to the fitness app and tried doing what you listed. I don’t see a history option but I am able to scroll through the days on the top of the page just not swipe left or right to get rid of the graph and see the my active and total calories. But the other links were super helpful! I am calibrating my watch today!!!! Hopefully that helps!
