I just upgraded to Big Sur on my MacPro, and the battery display changed. How can I make it the way it was before, i.e. permanently visible in the menu bar with current percentage? Also, the new configuration is telling me my battery needs servicing. Do I need to bring the laptop to an Apple Store to get serviced? Or is this something that can be done online, or – preferably – something I can do myself?

Click Battery in the sidebar.
Enable “Show Percentage” under” Battery”.
