Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have an iMac (20 inch, mid 2007) that I would like to connect to my LG Smart TV. I would like video and sound to come from the tv. Please help. Thank you.

This adapter, https://www.amazon.com/Mini-Video-Adapter-Macbooks-iMacs/dp/B07VXGPNQ7/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Mini-DVI+to+HDMI+Adapter&qid=1616109941&sr=8-3, plus a standard HDMI cable should connect them.
Once connected, you may have to go to System Preferences > Sound > and tell the Mac to send sound to the TV.
