Connecting iPad Pro to my TV

I have bought an HDMI cable and an apple connector for iPad but unfortunately didn’t realise the iPad Pro doesn’t have the lightening socket.

Can someone advise which cable I need to buy please. I’m so confused with it all !

Thanks

Assuming that your iPad Pro features a USB-C port (i.e., not Lightning), you will need an Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter:

There are also many third-party adapters available - such as Anker.

this

Lightning Digital AV Adapter - Lightning to HDMI - Apple

mind you many seem to complain about hdcp compliance issues and apps that block the feature like the netflix does

personally I would look toward airplay mirror to an appletv or look at some of the chromecast enabled apps in app store
