how much wifi data does my apps use on my ipad

I have an iPad without data. I only use wifi. I’d like to know how much data each app consumes.

I have found information on tracking how much cellular data each app uses, but not how much wifi data my apps use. I’ve seen this question asked before, but the answers always seem to go back to talking about how much cell data is consumed. I’d like to track how much wifi data each app uses. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Did I mention wifi data rather than cellular data? :-)

Yes, you definitely mentioned WiFi Data...

iOS/iPadOS does not provide a mechanism whereby an Apps network traffic can be monitored.

Thanks Lotus. I had tried looking and didn’t find anything, I guess that is why!

I’ve tried to find an app that would do it, but also could not find one (always find apps about cellular data but not wifi data usage per app). I would have thought something like that would be useful in general. Being in a rural area with teenagers with limited internet data per month, someway to track who and what is consuming data would be useful. I know you could track the ‘who’ but tracking the ‘what’ would be helpful too.
