I have created a shortcut that turn on my dyson fans at night. I am wondering can i ask siri to run it, so i dont have to pick up my phone before sleep.

Do the fans appear in HomeKit, or can you only control them through a dedicated app? If a dedicated app then it may be that the shortcut accessed from a HomePod doesn't have access to anything it can control.

it does not appear in homekit. but it has an app can control it. so which means i only can ask siri to control it through my iphone, because my iphone has the access to control it?
