Apple TV HD YouTube App Not Working

My Apple TV HD will only play YouTube videos if I’m signed in as a guest. I tried removing all accounts, signing in again, creating a brand new account, closing all apps, uninstalling and reinstalling the YouTube app, restarting the Apple TV, resetting, still does not play any videos when signed in under any account. Just comes up with a black screen, “Something went wrong,” and a QR code that isn’t recognizable on my iPhone.

To clarify, this is NOT an older Apple TV no longer supporting YouTube. 4th Gen HD purchased in 2020. YouTube works just fine under all accounts on other devices - phones, iPads etc.
