Missing camera app on watch

My camera app/icon has disappeared on my watch a few weeks ago. I’ve tried restarting both watch & phone, I’ve checked the settings & everything is fine. I try to re-download the app but I can’t, it’s a light grey, not blue saying (OPEN or DOWNLOAD or the “re-download” symbol). It’s the re-download symbol but a light grey, not allowing for any action. Any ideas?

You are on your iPhone. The banner states you must download it on the Apple Watch. Go to the App Store on the Apple Watch to download it. I checked on the App Store on my Watch and was able to see it and the button was on mine to Open, since I have it on mine. The option to download should be there if you don't have it.
